Lexus LF-LC concept

The Lexus LF-LC concept has been leaking on the Internet longer than most Detroit-bound reveals, but that doesn't make the 2+2 coupe any less stunning. The concept shows the design progression that started with the CT 200h and made real strides with the 2013 GS.

The hot-looking coupe was penned by Lexus' Calty design studio in Newport Beach, California. It comes as no surprise to us that this rolling design study also packs hybrid power, but Lexus claims that the sleek sports car will also deliver cutting-edge driving dynamics.

We're all for a Lexus with track aspirations, but this coupe is a design study that promises to further reveal the future of Lexus design. The LF-LC boldly displays Lexus' new spindle grill, while also mixing in sharp angles and elegant curves. The LF-LC also suggests to us that the LF-A may not be a one-and-done foray into the exotic sports coupe segment, but at the same time Lexus promises that the LF-LC could "remain within reach for premium buyers."

Outside of audacious LED headlamps and about two inches of ground clearance the exterior of the LF-LC looks production ready. The same cannot be said for the futuristic but still very cool cabin. The cabin is dominated by rich leather, tons of suede, thin yet elegant seats and more polished wood than a bowling alley.

The tech story is equally impressive, as a pair of 12.3-inch screens that pull information and navigation duties, respectively. The impressive screen dominating the centre stack is of the touch-sensitive variety, and it also controls audio, climate and navigation. The LF-LC also features a keyboard that helps the driver with more complex entries... hopefully for when this high-end Lexus remains in park. Lexus has gone further still with the touch tech, as doors, windows, mirrors, seats and entertainment systems are all manipulated through similar controls on the doors.
Lexus are certainly trying to prove them self's now a days first with the release  of the LFA and now this concept I always took Lexus for being a rather boring company but if they keep coming up with designs like this it will defiantly bring them back in to the consideration of buying and exotic car .

2012 Mitsubishi Eclipse spyder

2012 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder is a convertible with sleek, retro styling and a number of luxurious extras for driver and passengers, all at an affordable price tag. Mitsubishi has announced that 2012 will be the last production year for the Spyder with production ceasing in August 2011, so this model year represents the final curtain call for this reasonably priced two-door sport convertible.

Engine power in the Spyder is definitely nothing to shout about, with a measly 162 horsepower available on the base and GS Sport models and a respectable 265 horses under the hood of the GT. The Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder’s moderate weight allows it to provide reasonably quick acceleration and decent pickup, but the four-cylinder models may have difficulty with uphill grades or heavy loads in some cases. The small turning radius and sturdy suspension provide adequate handling under most city driving conditions.

The Spyder capitalizes on this truth with a host of features that make this vehicle even more fun to drive, from the available leather seats in the GT model to the cruise control and rear-view backup camera that come standard in every trim level. Power windows and locks, power folding top and the Bluetooth hands-free interface provide added convenience and push-button ease for drivers. Eighteen-inch alloy wheels and heated front seats are available on some models.

While high performance is sadly lacking even in the GT models, the 2012 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder is fun and easy to drive. It offers fuel mileage at 20 mpg city and up to 27 mpg in highway testing witch is shocking. Handling is about average for its weight class with some difficulty in acceleration when coming out of a hard turn. The suspension is adequate to provide a smooth ride, but is best suited to the urban environment rather than off-road escapes.

The 2012 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder will be sorely missed when production stops on this iconic convertible. While the Spyder never lived up to its sports car exterior, its price and features made it a favorite among style-conscious drivers and passengers. Even without the performance and pickup of more powerful vehicles, the Spyder is a bargain at the price and offers solid transportation in a sleek and sporty package.

The Suzuki's GSXR has to be one of my all-time favourite bikes and the bike I would love to own one day. Ok so sure the GSXR may of been about for over 25 years since its launch in 1985 but that hasn't stopped Suzuki in their path for endless perfection with changing at least 5-8 parts per year although the main changes didn't really start happening till the 90s with featured changes to the engine, suspension, body work, brakes and chassis. In my view the best looking GSXR is the K8 from 2008 it just defines what I think is one of the best looking bike with the speed and power with 130 bhp going to the back wheel and 64lbft of torque. Evan though this bike sound powerful and fast it also has good mpg at 54.3 mpg makes me think that biking in the summer is just so much more fun and cheaper.

Nissan's GTR R35

So this post breaks my tradition of new cars and bikes of 2012 as this car was first released in 2007. There still improvements being made to it for this year is suppose in some ways I can still use this car. We are of course talking about Nissan's GTR R35.

The r35 is the successor of the Nissan Skyline R34 witch stopped production back in 2002 .You can tell there was a lot of thought went in to the making of the new GTR as it was designed from the ground up and took nearly 5 years from the first concept model but Nissan didn't stop there they wanted this new GTR to be un like anything on the road we have seen today and set its main goal of being faster than the Porsche 911 so they also designed a whole new engine for the GTR.

The VR38DETT engine is a 3,799 cc DOHC V6 with plasma transferred wire arc sprayed bores. Two parallel Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries (IHI) turbochargers provide the forced induction. Models manufactured between 2007 and 2010 produce a manufacturer-claimed engine output of 478 bhp at 6400 rpm and 434 lb·ft at 3200–5200 rpm.

To give the specs of this car and then the price is just simply staggering not to mention the little details like the tyres are filled with nitrogen because Nissan decided that normal oxygen was too unstable under the cornering forces this car could achieve I think this video from you tube should give you an idea of what this car can do and why I would defiantly would buy one

Ok so it’s been a few months since I last posted anything here but keep an eye out over the next few weeks as now my blog is due to be assessed ill start posting a few more posts.

Ok so this is probably one of the last iconic super cars that were ever going to see it’s the Lamborghini Aventador LP760-4.  I’ve not chosen the standard edition as although the standard edition is just as good I’ve chosen the dragon edition by Oakley design it has the fixed carbon fibre rear spoiler, redesigned front bumper and rear air vents to aid the cooling of 6.5 V12. It also has the ECU modifications and a titanium exhaust system that not only helps to produce 760hp, but also reduces the overall weight by 35kg.
Beautiful Nero Nemesis Aventador that has been converted into the second Oakley Design LP760-4 Dragon Edition.

This specific LP760-4 Dragon Edition was originally matte black, but today it features a rather special chrome wrap in a bright aqua blue shade, that contrasts nicely with the clear carbon fibre parts Oakley design mounted on top of those black HRE wheels. Every part on the original Aventador air intakes that was black has been changed to clear carbon fibre, up front we see the extended intakes and the spoiler lip in the centre, naturally all in clear carbon fibre, just like the impressive rear wing installed.
In this blue wrap the LP760-4 Dragon Edition does look very impressive, only 10 will be made.

The ‘Dragon Edition’ also features specially developed HRE Wheels that are half an inch wider at the front and an inch wider at the rear while also saving another 5kg over the standard edition. There is word that there is only going to be ten of the Dragon Editions are going to be made.

Inside we notice several upgraded parts and special stitching ... most importantly a nice red dragon on the door panels ... hence the Dragon Edition naturally.
Only 10 of these LP760-4 Dragon Edition of the Oakley Design tuned Aventador will be made worldwide. This custom stitching on the door panel is one of the reasons to call this Aventador LP760-4 the Dragon edition.Lamborghini Aventador LP760-4 Dragon Edition Photo 6
But Oakley didn't stop there, take a closer look at the roof and air intakes behind the side windows ... all glossy carbon fibre too, just like those rear view mirrors and the custom made door sills, showing the Dragon Edition serial number ... attention to detail is very important here, the serial number plaque is even mounted in the completely 'carbonized' engine bay that now houses a V12 pumping out 760 hp, do note the Dragon Edition retains the four wheel drive and isn't converted to rear wheel drive only.

This certainly has to be one of my most favourite and most anticipated releases of 2012 so far. The Ducatti 1199 Panigale s in my view has to be one of the sexiest things on two wheels since the release of the Suzuki GSXR 750 k8 model.
The 1199 come with The Superquadro witch the most powerful twin-cylinder engine on the planet, and as evidence of the Ducati 1199 Panigale's flawless performance In the innovative Superquadro engine, the power has been increased up to 195 HP@10,750 rpm, an absolute reference for a series-produced twin-cylinder, while torque has been increased to 13.5 kgm@9,000 rpm. And thanks to the Riding Mode options, the rider is able to modulate power delivery based on riding style and road conditions.
The 1199 Panigale features a distribution of weights equivalent to 52% at the front and 48% at the rear without the rider. The ratio then becomes an optimal 50:50 when the rider is on the seat to guarantee absolute stability and handling. To achieve this optimal configuration, solutions were implemented to allow a concentration of the weights at the front: the engine has come forward 32 mm compared to the 1198, the exhaust system is placed under the engine, the rider's position is advanced by 30 mm. Added to all this is the new single-sided swingarm in 100% cast aluminium secured directly to the rear of the engine, longer than the 1198 by 39 mm.
